Dahlia is an emergent Chicana writer and daughter of El Paso and Corpus Christi, Texas. Dahlia earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in English from Georgetown University, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from TAMU-CC, and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Trinity University- Washington, DC. Her manuscript Tidal Range was a finalist for the Louise Bogan Poetry Award. She is an alum of Under the Volcano. Her poems appear in Naugatuck Review, Acentos Review, The Skinny Poetry Journal and the anthologies Write Until You Cry, Boundless, and Somos Xicanas.
She is available for readings and hosting literary events.
